Detergents and Soaps
Andercol has an ample portfolio of homopolymer polyacrylates and copolymers with diverse molecular weights that make them suitable as dispersant agents in the formulation of detergents. Due to the sequestering power of ions that produce harshness in the water (Ca2 +, Mg2+), polyacrylates allows the efficiency of the tensioactive as a cleaning agent to be maintained and in many cases improved. Its dispersing powers keeps the powder and grime molecules in suspension, avoiding its redepositing on the clothes being washed, making them soft to the touch and assuring total elimination during the rinse cycle. The products are completely water soluble, do not degrade by concentration and temperature. Additionally, present advantages during the powder detergent fabrication process with drying by aspersion as they significantly reduce viscosity of the mud, allowing work with more concentrated solids. Compared with phosphate type dispersants, polyacrylates don’t exhibit eutrophication, which affects aquatic ecosystems.
